Biographie
Professeur (en retraite)
Poète irlandais, économiste national et historien.
L'un des fondateurs (1842) et premier secrétaire de la « Dublin Philosophical Society ». Célèbre comme poète dès 1843, où il compose The Memory of the Dead, qui devient l'hymne nationaliste irlandais.

Le 13 octobre 1837, John Kells Ingram s'inscrit comme étudiant à Trinity College (Dublin), où il restera soixante-dix ans. Il y a étudié rhétorique, droit, littérature... (lire la suite...)
